Reiki: What is it and how it can benefit us?

Reiki, a Japanese healing therapy, is an alternative therapy which operates on the spiritual principle that the channeling of healing energy can have a positive impact us. This allows the client to experience harmony and balance in their body, mind, and soul. The word Reiki is derived from the words "rei," which means universal, and "ki," which means life energy.


Benefits of Reiki


Physically, Reiki is said to encourage relaxation, ease tense muscles, and improve general energy flow—all of which support the body's inherent healing mechanisms. This may result in more restful sleep, boosted immunity, and an overall feeling of energy. It is used to heal any physical injuries, chronic pain, migranes, digestive problems and improve immunity, re-energise the body and balance the energy evenly in the body.


Reiki is also thought to help improve mental clarity and emotional regulation. It is also helpful in reducing stress, anxiety, depression, indeciveness, procrastination and in letting go of guilt, shame and regret. We also use reiki to improve self-esteem, confidence, self-worth and clarity of thoughts.


A sense of inner peace is fostered by the practice's ability to relax the neurological system. Reiki is a popular option for people looking for a natural and holistic road to healing and relaxation since it is gentle, non-invasive, and enhances other therapeutic treatments.
